The beginning, our core values, our philosophy, the future

Welcome to Titans / Sting SA, the premier grass roots standard in south texas soccer.
Formerly known as San Antonio United Soccer Club, the club was formed in 2005 by ambitious young soccer coaches from the British Isles with one thing in mind...Spread the love of the sport that so greatly impacted their lives, and the soccer club experience, to as many people as possible in the San Antonio area, do it the right way, and have fun doing it. Since then, the club has grown the right way.
We currently have more than 1,200+ members and have reached thousands of people, who still proudly associate with their club long after they have left. Some went on to play College soccer, some to successful professional careers, some are now back with the club in a coaching capacity. One thing most definitely remains with a graduate of Titans / Sting SA, a love for a sport that they can carry throughout the rest of their lives, a sense of camaraderie, an understanding of teamwork, and a confidence that they are able to succeed in the world.

Defining the future of the boys program

Heading into Fall 2019, SAU has made the decision to collaborate with Titans FC and operate as a single entity, going forward the club will be called Titans FC SA.
Titans FC is an all boys organization and the brother club to the nationally recognized Sting Soccer Organization, in which the female side of the club plays under. Operated by the same administrative staff, Titans FC will now have teams in San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, New Mexico and Pennsylvania. SAU has been a staple of the SA youth market since 2006 and is one of the top technical developmental clubs in the State of Texas.
The move to bring the boys program of SAU together with Titans FC serves to continue a similar developmental pathway as the girls, with the boys competing on local and regional platforms, with an eye to the national stage. The focused goal for Titans FC is to complete the developmental pathway locally, regionally, and nationally and rise to national prominence using the same model that has brought Sting unprecedented success over time.
This is a defining moment going forward for SAU, now Titans FC, and we look forward to what the future holds for the youth players that will propel Titans to national success.

The evolution and the future of the Sting SA girls program

Bringing ECRL levels of play to our girls program provides a very exciting pathway for their future.
In August 2018, the SAU Soccer Club girls program partnered with Sting Soccer Club. The leadership of SAU recognized an opportunity where SAU teams would have access to high level platforms, primarily the new ECRL (Elite Clubs Regional League), while providing a program that will enhance opportunity for development at every level for our athletes.
The partnership allows our female players to play and compete on more Regional and National platforms, which presented further challenges and growth for individual and team development. With alignment in the vision and mission of the programs, the collaborative nature of the agreement brings success and an enhanced offering for them.
With a shared vision and goal of ensuring maximum opportunity for every player to develop and grow, we look forward to what the future holds for the Sting SA teams and staff.

What do our members have to say about the club

Jill T

We have had our kids play soccer at multiple places (YMCA, i9), but Titans / Sting SA Rising Stars program has been most successful at developing their soccer skills. The coaches are engaging, the training maximizes the player's abilities, teaches them about the game of soccer, and most importantly is fun! The program helped my kids and family love the game.

Leti G

Our two daughters have been with Sting SA since 2004. We love the club, coaching staff and parents. Sting has provided great opportunities and experiences for our daughters. The coaches we have had have been phenomenal and genuinely care about the development of each player. The high level of training our coach brings to sessions is remarkable.

Ruben C

I wish to take this opportunity to highly commend the coaches at Titans FC for their

exemplary dedication, skill and superb

attributes demonstrated coaching my son. My son has been with the club for four years and during that time he has developed his skills to ever-increasing levels of play.

Our curriculum, standards and player growth philosophy

Our mission is to be the best grass roots club, offering programs for all players that want to learn and grow.
We are proud to be the most dedicated Soccer Club in the development of youth soccer players in the San Antonio area. We employ only the best technical trainers and role models, and set the highest expectations for player improvement from one season to the next. We will never put team wins and losses ahead of the importance of technical development. Great technical development from a young age will prepare the player to explore their full potential. We take pride in aiding the development of two most important qualities in developing youth, character and confidence. We consider it a massive privilege to be a part of your children's growth, and we want you as a family to enjoy the experience of being a part of the Titans FC family with us.
We provide all levels of competition necessary to achieve these goals. Our comprehensive play curriculum is designed to see a players development pathway through to completion, can begin at the age of 4 and continue until they become an adult. Every coach is licensed and vetted to ensure they possess the right character, knowledge and skillset to impart the Titans FC way into every player.
